Jumping from the music industry to a university creative position was one of the strangest transitions for me. I jumped into print design after working so heavily in the digital world in the music industry. This came with so many challenges, and allowed me to grow in an area I had very little experience in very quickly - print design. I never thought I would be conceptualizing, designing, and preparing an 80 page magazine for a top university at 23 years old. Pretty cool, and very challenging. Below you will see a few pieces I am most proud of during my short time at the university before heading into the creative agency world.

Vanderbilt Magazine Spring 2019
As a designer at Vanderbilt University, I had the opportunity to art direct and design the Spring 2019 edition of Vanderbilt Magazine, a quarterly publication that is sent to all Vanderbilt alumni. The magazine is a compilation of recent news related to Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff, alumni, and the community surrounding Vanderbilt University that is Nashville, TN. Here you will see a few spread samples from the magazine, and a web layout I created for the online portion of the magazine.
Vanderbilt University Office of Undergraduate Admissions Open ‘Dores Booklet 2019
I had the opportunity to revamp the newest edition of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions’ first piece of print content that is sent to prospective students in their junior year of high school. This project also included art directing the photo shoots and compositions for the front cover.
Chancellor’s Holiday Card 2019
I had the chance to illustrate and design the 2019 Chancellor’s holiday card. The illustration represents Vanderbilt’s newest residence hall completed in 2018, E. Bronson Ingram. Below is the final die cut illustration and type for the card.

I did this photo illustration for the Fall 2018 edition of Vanderbilt Magazine, the artwork for a feature in the magazine called “From Conspiracy to Conservation,” celebrating 50 years for the Vanderbilt Television News Archives.
